Great news!
I am so shocked and happy!
After so much time of no progress no matter what I did, I had stopped expecting anything to happen.
So this time I just went with the plan and didn't stress myself!
Booya!
and What's the plan you might ask?
We are trying to run every other day for 30 minutes. It doesn't sound like much, but believe me it is.
We started marking the calender with a BIG exciting "RAN!" on the days that we have gone.
Elliott is the black marker and I am the green marker.
(those 3 days I didn't run I was sick with a terrible sore throat!)
I have found this is a REALLY good method to keep us accountable and keep us on track.
Also it helps us to feel accomplished as well.
A lot of times when you are looking down such a long long tunnel of weight loss it's easy to say ugh and just want to throw your hands in the air. But i find that when i know that i am and have been working towards my goal it makes me feel better in the day to day about how I look.
Even more exciting news!
My husband and I have signed up for a Tough Mudder!
It is a really awesome "race" that covers about 10-12 miles and then there are approximately 25 events and obstacles throughout.
It takes a lot of work and has some more than challenging tasks.
But we have until April to prepare.
That gives of plenty of time to get in better shape and train up.
We are both so excited!
My husband and I are gonna try to make a trip to our local {local, my butt, it's over an hour away!} state park and take their 7 mile hiking trail, it's supposed to be kinda hard, but we really want to do it.
So hopefully my dad will be willing to babysit the kids one day this week so we can give it a try!
I know that 2.4 lbs doesn't seem extreme, and in the grand scheme it really isn't, but those lost pounds add up fast!
I feel really charged!
Here I am being a SUPER happy camper!
How is your weight loss going?
Have you ever done a tough mudder? (or something like it?)

Congrats on losing!! :) I'm down just about the same amount this week. :) It really does add up and seeing a change (even slight) in the downward direction is a great motivator. Keep it up!!

My husband did 2 tough mudders this year. I signed up to do it with him next spring. I am super excited and it gives you tons of motivation. Keep working hard!
